VAS-2 is a professional amplifier switching system designed to safely manage up to 5 amplifiers and 2 speaker cabinets.
Unlike the VAS-1, which switches only the power output section, the VAS-2 also routes the input signal to the selected amplifier.
The input stage incorporates the Vinteck BNB (Buff'n Boost) circuit, ensuring maximum signal integrity even in complex wiring configurations. It eliminates signal loss while preserving complete transparency and ultra-low noise. When required, the circuit can also be used as a clean boost, activated via the dedicated control.
Amplifier selection is performed using a heavy-duty rotary switch. To provide maximum equipment protection, power output switching is delayed by approximately 300 ms, preventing any possible signal backfeed or simultaneous connection between amplifiers.
Speaker selection is handled by a dedicated selector, allowing the output to be routed to either of the 2 available speaker cabinets.
All non-selected amplifiers are automatically connected to an internal 50 W / 16 Ω standby load, providing a proper load for powered amplifiers with no input signal and preventing unloaded operation.
The speaker output is also protected. If no speaker cabinet is connected to the VAS-2, an internal safety load is automatically engaged, protecting the selected amplifier during short periods of operation without a connected speaker.
Designed to provide maximum operational safety, the VAS-2 allows multi-amplifier systems to be managed with fast, silent switching while remaining completely transparent to the audio signal.
